The whole team is highly dedicated and motivated to teach and to help their students to grow physically and mentally. Yogi Ram is the head teacher / course director of our yoga teacher training courses. He was born in New Delhi, India, in a traditional and a spiritual family. From the age of five till sixteen he attended the Vedic school, which gave him thorough knowledge of vedas, vedanta and yoga. He follows the lineage of Swami Sivananda and has been trained under various reputed teachers of the lineage like Swami Ramananda and Yogi Shambu. He began his teaching career in India in May 1998, and with over 38,000 teaching hours experience he has taught thousands of students from different backgrounds and different experience levels all over the world. He is also a registered ERYT 500 with Yoga Alliance.
He has vast and in-depth knowledge of yoga philosophy, asanas, yoga anatomy and physiology. These skills have added to his understanding of the human anatomy and body response. Over his long period of teaching experience he has developed special and unique asana correction techniques which are very efficient, quick and simple. He belives that the goal of the teacher is to help the students meet their goals and for this he needs to understands his students. His philosophy classes are full of interesting stories and his asana classes are physically and spiritually enriching. His teaching style is firm but caring and he tries to provide personal attention to each and every student in his class. When he is not teaching he spends his time with his wife and two childeren at their countryside home in Netherlands.

Kalyani was born in Switzerland. She studied at the prestigious Fontys Dance Academy in Netherlands and danced professionally throughout Europe. Despite having a stiff body in the beginning she mastered the advanced asanas with her regular diligent practice and hard work. Over these years she has developed a profound understanding of the physiology and movement technique. Since 2008 she has been teaching yoga full time with Arhanta Yoga. Since 2013 she became Creative Director at Arhanta Yoga Ashram Netherlands. She brings her positive and hard working attitude in her classes. Her personal practice is inspiring and her words are always motivating. Her caring and nurturing teaching style has made her the favorite teacher of many students.

Omkar is an experienced asana teacher. He has a special skill of giving personal attention to everyone in the class. Even in large groups he is able to look after each one of his students. He has studied with various reputed teachers like Saraswathi Rangaswamy (daughter of Sri. Pattabhi Jois). His understanding of asana alignments is outstanding. He provides personal attention to each students and even remembers the injuries / special conditions of every student. He teaches with focus and discipline and humour at the same time. He has very good understanding of individual correction and modification techniques. His classes are fun and challenging for students of all levels.

Jyoti is a warm, kind and a patient teacher. She is clear and calm in her explanations and has a very professional attitude. She is passionate about teaching and takes her duties as a teacher very seriously. She joined our team in 2014 and since then she has been teaching fulltime at our ashrams.
